This program features four standalone Dungeons & Dragons adventures, each designed around a different season, genre, and visual style. The adventures are intended for young players roughly ages 10–18 and emphasize exploration, puzzles, mysteries, roleplaying, environmental challenges, and light combat. Each adventure is designed to feel like a complete fantasy or science-fiction story, with humor, suspense, memorable characters, and opportunities for players to solve problems creatively.
The Road to Adventure
Fantasy Journey • Renaissance • Whimsical Characters
The adventurers find themselves traveling along the mysterious Emerald Brick Road toward a fantastical city. Inspired by The Wizard of Oz, Renaissance-era fantasy, and the imaginative character work of Jim Henson and Frank Oz, the adventure features an eccentric cast of colorful characters and a world that feels theatrical, handmade, and slightly strange. Along the journey, the players encounter people who need their help, unusual environments, and challenges that encourage cooperation and creative problem-solving. The adventure explores themes of friendship, generosity, and gratitude through the journey itself rather than presenting them as a formal lesson.
