D&D One-Shot Adventures: The Enchanted Forest
This program features four standalone Dungeons & Dragons adventures, each designed around a different season, genre, and visual style. The adventures are intended for young players roughly ages 10–18 and emphasize exploration, puzzles, mysteries, roleplaying, environmental challenges, and light combat. Each adventure is designed to feel like a complete fantasy or science-fiction story, with humor, suspense, memorable characters, and opportunities for players to solve problems creatively. We’ll still have stories and songs, then we’ll follow up with sensory activities for the little littles and a game or craft for the bigger littles. It’s storytime with even more fun!

Bring some friends and join us in the CanTeen’s new hangout space on Thursday evenings for board games, video games on our new Switch 2 (or Xbox), card games, and much more!
Storytime Dance Party
Come dance with us at the library! Our monthly dance parties for preschool-aged kiddos have plenty of songs, stories, and dancing. Caregivers are required to be present, and may even find it impossible to resist joining in the fun!

CanTeen Chocolate Olympics
In recognition of Milton Hershey’s birthday, the CanTeen will be hosting a Chocolate Olympics filled with games and goodies! Teens 7th through 12th grade are encouraged to sign up.
Spaces are limited to 5 teams of 2, stop by the CanTeen for questions and to register your team!

Library Closure: Labor Day
The Fremont County Library System will be closed Saturday, September 5th through Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th.

Lego Club and Junior Builders
Join us at the library for some Lego building fun! Our once monthly Lego Club is open to children ages 6 to 12 for free building with library Legos, creations will be displayed in the Children’s department for the week following the club. Our Junior Builders club is open to children ages 3 to 5 with an adult caregiver.

Teen Advisory Board

TAB is a group of teens who meet at the library once a month to plan awesome events for teens, make suggestions to improve the teen space at the library, talk about books and movies, and more! Take advantage of this opportunity to make an impact on your community. Be heard, earn service hours, make new friends—all while representing teens at the library.

This Month’s Read: Creature Clinic
Tween Book Club will meet once a month in the summer to discuss a graphic novel and do book-related activities. Registration is required and will start at the beginning of each month.
Participants must register in order to receive a copy of the book to read. Sign up at the Children’s desk by August 10th.
Adult SRP - Rockhounding 101
Spend time with an experienced Wyoming rockhound to gain firsthand knowledge of the rocks, minerals, and geological features unique to our region!
