Public Comment Period: Proposed Revision to Materials Acquisition Policy

The Fremont County Library System Board of Trustees intends to revise the Materials Acquisition Policy in the FCLS Organizational & Personnel Policy Manual. In accordance with the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act (WAPA) [Wyo. Stat. Ann. ยง 16-3-101], the proposed changes may be viewed at each FCLS library, or at the link below:
A hard copy is available at the main circulation desk at the Lander Library (451 N. 2nd Street), the Riverton Branch Library (1330 W. Park Avenue), and the Dubois Branch Library (202 N. 1st Street).
The 45-day public comment period begins Friday, May 15, 2026. Interested parties may send comments to Library Director Anita Marple at any of the three libraries listed above or by email to amarple@fclsonline.org. Comments will be forwarded to the Library Board.

RESCHEDULED:
The special meeting of the Fremont County Library Board has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 30 at 5 pm at the Lander Library. A disruption in County email service has prevented the review of the final three days of the public comment period for the proposed revision to the Materials Acquisition Policy. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The purpose of the Special Meeting is to review the public comments on the proposed revision to the Materials Acquisition Policy and to vote on the proposed policy revision of the Materials Acquisition Policy. A Zoom link will be available on the Library Board page the morning of the meeting.
