Wyoming Shakespeare Festival Company Presents “Shakespeare’s Greatest Scenes” WORKSHOP

FREE & OPEN to the PUBLIC. Ticket reservations are not required. Please show up 15 minutes prior to the performance to secure seating.

The Fremont County Library System is among the stops for a two-actor tour of “Shakespeare’s Greatest Scenes” in local schools, libraries, and community centers throughout Fremont County, organized by the Wyoming Shakespeare Festival Company. The 60-minute performance will include excerpts from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, As You Like It, Romeo & Juliet, and The Taming of the Shrew. Each performance will be followed by a 15-minute talkback with the actors, as well as the option for a heightened language workshop.

The workshop is open to all members of the community, regardless of age or experience, and lasts about an hour. The students will work with the two actors on breathing exercises, acting games, and an intro to Shakespeare’s language.

Ring in the holiday season and support your local libraries at Buffalo Bill Boycott & Dr. Jo’s Holiday Roundup Library Benefit Concert!

Buffalo Bill and Dr. Jo perform on the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and guitar during this live music performance offering Holiday and Christmas songs, stories, poems, and entertaining skits in the festive spirit of the Cowboys and Pioneers of Wyoming and the Old West! Seating is limited, so be sure to get tickets for the family as soon as you can! (see below for ticket info)

Tickets are required for entry and are available for purchase at the Riverton Branch Library or at the door before the show (if available), cash or check only for payment (checks payable to the Fremont County Library Foundation)

Can't make the show in Riverton? Additional shows will take place the 19th in Lander and 21st in Dubois! Inquire with Lander or DBL staff about ticket availability for the other shows.

Jingle Jangle Jubilee!

Santa Claus will be joining us, so stop in, tell him what you want for Christmas, and snap some pictures! We will also have a Letter to Santa Station for everyone to send a note to the North Pole. A craft will also be provided! We can't wait to see you!

Trunk or Treat

Bring your young ghouls out to see the decorated cars and get some treats! Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy a fun-filled evening of trick-or-treating from creatively decorated trunks! From ghoulish to goofy, we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this year!

Want to participate with your own trunk?
Call or stop by the Riverton Branch Library to reserve your trunk spot today. The best decorated community trunk will win a gift card to a local restaurant. Community trunks must supply their own candy. Trunk sign ups are open until October 30th or until spots are full!

Candy donations are welcome!
